EPT-4CE6-AF. This can be achieved using specialized programming software and hardware that supports JTAG programming through a USB interface. For example, Xilinx's Impact or Vivado software can be used in conjunction with a USB-JTAG programming cable to program the FPGA in JTAG mode. This allows for convenient and flexible programming of the device using a standard USB connection.

In summary, yes, you can program the DueProLogic EPT-4CE6-AF in JTAG mode using USB. It offers a convenient and accessible method for programming the FPGA on the device.

I want to check, is it possible to program the DueProLogic EPT-4CE6-AF in JTAG mode using just a USB?

I've programmed it before successfully using Active Serial Programming + adding a .pof file, but when using JTAG mode I get "Cant access JTAG chain". I believe I have installed the drivers mentioned in the other post in the forum. Maybe it would work if I got an actual JTAG blaster and used the JTAG connections, but is it possible with just a USB?

An alternate question, when programming in Active Serial mode, it takes about a minute and loads onto the flash of the board. Is there a way to do something like JTAG programming which if faster for temporary test projects without overriding the flash of the board?

Programming the DueProLogic EPT-4CE6-AF in JTAG mode using just a USB is not possible. You would need a JTAG blaster and use the JTAG connections for programming in JTAG mode.

When programming in Active Serial mode, it loads onto the flash of the board, which takes about a minute. To achieve faster programming for temporary test projects without overriding the flash of the board, you can consider using JTAG programming with a proper JTAG setup.
